Deborah Halpern

I grew up in Warrandyte, a community of creative people.
Sculptors, potters, writers, painters, and entrepreneurs.
Growing up living a free life, roaming the hills, building cubbies in the bush, swimming in the river, and coming home at dinnertime.

My parents were two of the founding members of Potters Cottage which began as a small miners hut and grew into a highly respected gallery, school, restaurant, destination.
Living a creative life was the water in which I swam.
Bringing joy to people through my work is the game I play.
