enjoy delving into the Artists' Biographies
Diane Hogan
A few years ago, I was fortunate to come across some beautifully aged, pressed tin from the Hunter and Mudgee regions. Surrounded by a collection of reclaimed timber and vintage furniture in my shed, I was inspired to breathe new life into forgotten materials.
My first creation—a reimagined Christmas tree—sparked what would become Tin Unique. Since then, I’ve continued crafting sculptural pieces that blend nostalgia with sustainability: clocks, planters, dragonflies, and more.
What began as a passion project has now grown into a meaningful practice, showcased at local markets and within a vibrant makers collective in Wauchope, NSW.
This is the first time entering any of my work in a show or competition.
