enjoy delving into the Artists' Biographies
Eric Hull
I am a Butcher by Trade, artist by choice.
My artistic journey started with drawing and painting. I then discovered “Junk Art”, making pieces from other people’s castoffs. Winning a couple of “Waste to Art” competitions was very encouraging.
Of late, most of my work has been in corten steel, cutting, bending and welding to create life-sized animals etc, from a simple kookaburra to an 18-hand high draught horse named “Bonnie”.
Attention to detail is important to me. I like the audience looking at my artwork to recognise what it is without having to read an explanation from the artist.
