I studied French and Art history at University in Scotland, and always attended life-drawing lessons in art schools when possible in the UK and France. The urge to form has always been strong – I’ve made furniture, clothes, jewellery, a kayak and much else over the years.  It’s only in the last 2 years that I’ve devoted myself to sculpture full time.

I moved to Australia in 1989, and have lived in Gadigal country ever since.  Careers as a wildlife cameraman, also in teaching and counselling have all informed my sculpting now.  I like doing people, animals, nature – things with warmth, passion, and beauty.
