I had a traditional art training but gained more from my mentor the late John Ogburn who introduced me to modern art and the ideas of Carl Jung.

I agree with Jung that dreams and artworks are the road to the unconscious. My figurative sculptures express emotions that I needed to express at the time of creation, inspired by the body language of dancers.
