enjoy delving into the Artists' Biographies
Ron Ahl
My sculptural endeavors now see me creating more in metal, particularly Corten steel, concentrating on the rusty patina.
I mostly like to create more stylised examples of Australian flora and fauna, with a tendency to create large pieces, restricted only by my ability to handle them. I enjoy creating pieces that are a “play on words”, for example, “nut case”, a suitcase made out of 780 assorted nuts.
Currently a “resident artist” member of Art Gallery on Ovens, Wangaratta Vic. and member of the “Association of Sculptors Victoria”
Past president of “Made in Mansfield”, a community gallery in Mansfield Vic.
