Waiting …

Based on the iMessage ellipsis bubble. Many know the anxiety of waiting for a message. Maybe as this piece moves in the breeze, the experience can turn into something more playful and contemplative.

Waiting … weighs 4.5kg so could readily hang in a tree or indeed on a wall.

Bird with Red Legs

I asked Denise Lithgow to felt a piece of firewood that I had chosen. In response to her embellishment I completed the walking bird with twig, paint and some binding where necessary.

Maximus

This piece was inspired by my late father in law Max. Braford bulls are strong and quiet in nature which encapsulates Max. He is mounted on a worn stair tread which represents his footsteps in life.
