Bush Spirit II | 2025
I work to harness the light on the form so that my sculpture is never still, just poised-a history implied and a story about to unfold.
I grew up on an isolated and idyllic sheep property. I learnt to appreciate and respect the powerful interdependence of animals man and nature and to treasure the threatened species. My Bush childhood, love of horses , threatened and exotic wildlife, the human figure and my travels are powerful images informing my work.
Commissions
My commissions include sculpture for Trelawney Stud (NZ), Clayton Utz Sydney,St. Bede's Church Pyrmont, The Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) for Sir David Attenborough's 90th birthday, 3 Threatened Species sculptures for AWC's New York Gala, Waterville Golf Club in Ireland, The Women's College within The University of Sydney and many private commissions and collections in Australia, UK, America, France, Canada, Hong Kong and Jordan.
