I am deeply influenced by the natural world and conscious of using only natural ingredients to produce my work.
This is an obvara fired vessel (an ancient raku technique using only flour yeast and water to scald the clay) in conjunction with woven seagrass attached by Shel Sweeney. It is moody and intricate and has echoes of the undersea world.
