A fusion of earthly elements, this series of biomorphic sculptures draws inspiration from the ocean. Each flowing form is adorned with pearls and natural Australian sapphires, enhancing their organic beauty.
This item has been hand built in black clay. The sapphire was hand fossicked from our property in Inverell and I have faceted the sapphire in my workshop on the property.

I’m a lapidary artist with seven years experience in faceting sapphire hand fossicked from my property.
My work centres around reimagining the role of gemstones as objects that enhance and transform a space.
With a Certificate IV in Fine Art, I’ve had the opportunity to experiment with a variety of mediums, blending my skills in lapidary, metal smithing, and ceramics. I merge the artistry of gemstone cutting with the malleable nature of clays and metals. Ceramics has given me the freedom to explore my fascination with biomorphic shapes.
My work aims to connect us with the raw beauty of the earth.
