Still Moments is a scaled-down reflection of my larger installation Threaded Silence. Handwoven from salvaged wire, recycled rope, and natural fibres, this smaller cocoon-like form captures the essence of quiet resilience.
Every knot, fray, and texture speaks to the strength found in softness and the beauty within imperfection. While modest in scale, the work holds space for contemplation?inviting the viewer to pause, to feel, to listen. It honours the gentle, often unseen threads that shape our lives.

Julia Rose
I'm a sculptor and installation artist working with natural and reclaimed materials to explore transformation, impermanence, and resilience.
My practice evolved from floral couture into larger, more tactile works—woven, built, and bound by hand. I’m drawn to textures that tell stories and forms that invite reflection. Each piece is rooted in emotion and made with intention.
