I returned to the themes of time, change and family again and again over the course of my career. The passage of time and change is something I have always been uneasy with.
Up, Up and Away is a sculpture about those anxieties. However it strives to present that in an uplifting way.
Time, change, the growth of the family is beautiful and necessary no matter how we might want to freeze one moment in time.

Up,Up and Away | 2023
I have worked as a professional artist since 2001, specialising in figurative and abstract bronze and stainless steel sculpture.
The idea of beauty and design is a strong component of my contemporary art practice and each artwork strives to develop the aesthetic perfection of line and form within the context of the human experience.
Currently my interest is in exploring the notion of the ‘Sublime’ through the lens of sculpture with works like ‘Hope’, ‘Up,Up and Away’, ‘Creation of Man’, and ‘Death of a Star’.
