This sculpture represents the Brahman bull, an iconic figure in Australia’s beef cattle industry and a powerful symbol of resilience, strength, and adaptation.
Forged from steel, a material known for its durability and endurance, the form reflects the very qualities that have made the Brahman indispensable to Australia’s northern pastoral landscapes.

Brahman | 2024
I have been sculpting with multiple mediums including steel, Australian hardwoods, concrete, and ceramics for 20 years starting back in 2000. My love of sculpting large scale pieces started with steel due to its versatility, strength and durability. My sculptures and creations are only limited by the size of my workshop.
I believe creating and building a sculpture is a very personal experience, you start with an idea that evolves over a couple of months. When it starts to take shape, you must get started before competing ideas cloud the project.
