In this work I have created a screen which stands open and away from the wall so the interaction of the wires with their shadows is more dramatic.

Dancing Wire Screen | 2022 Sculptor Bio
Sally Robinson
My art career began as a fine art screen printer. I then made a shift back to painting, incorporating and adapting the stencil technique from printmaking to create dynamic, pixelated surface textures in acrylic on canvas After producing black and white linear paintings with a sense of movement and dimension, I began creating actual 3D space.
In my works in-the-round, black wires move through repeated shapes, holding and being contained by them. My relief works use black lines of wire undulating over a white background where the waves take on the appearance of mountains, hills and valleys.
