Rhonda Castle

My work integrates bronze, steel, stone and timber. Exploring and experiments with techniques and the use of these materials to produce sculptures that aim to convey emotional energy through form that lends itself to my expressive work. Graduated Bachelor of Fine Arts (National Art School). and Diploma in Visual Arts (Newcastle)
I exhibit widely throughout NSW, Solo Exhibitions, aligned with Residencies

A facilitator of community workshops in sustainable management practice and collaborative works on the Central Coast through Council led programs involved with Artist trails and youth vocational activities.. Assist tutors delivering Interactive Online Seasonal Youth Workshops National Art School.

Exhibitions

In 2017 and 2015 Castle represented NSW in the International Wood Symposium, producing public art pieces that have been installed at Rylstone and Kandos (Mudgee region).
Castle also has Public Art pieces installed at Nelsons Bay Foreshore and the Hunter Valley Golf Resort.

Commissions

She has been commissioned by the Resort Industry at Port Stephens for sculptures in a restaurant foyer, the Nelson Bay Koala Sanctuary, and for private collections within the vineyard grounds throughout Mudgee Region.

I also have commissioned works in Jindabyne and Bowral.
