Faun captures a mythical creature caught between wilderness and humanity. Half man, half goat, he stands in a moment of stillness?playful yet reflective. The sculpture explores themes of instinct, sensuality, and our ancient connection to nature. Through expressive form and raw texture, Faun becomes a symbol of the untamed spirit that still echoes within us.

Dawid Szymczyk
I’m Dawid Szymczyk, a sculptor working primarily in bronze and stone. My practice explores themes of humanity, myth, and civilization, often through dynamic allegories.
I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and have exhibited across Europe and Australia, including Figurativas in Barcelona and shows in NSW and Victoria.
My works—like Matador, Don Quixote, and Hegemon and Pretender—capture movement, emotion, and hidden narrative. Sculpture is both passion and language for me—a way to tell timeless stories.
Now based in Sydney, I continue developing my practice, pushing toward more abstract and symbolic forms rooted in classical craftsmanship.
