Amaranth is/was an imaginary undying flower.
Perhaps now, cast in bronze, the tree from which the mould for this piece was fashioned, lives on, and the ephemeral existence of an artisan may be remembered.

An award winning gentleman amateur sculptor of the third age with no formal training enjoying untethering the imagination to seek the next unqualified success.
Born 1953, Sydney after a 3.5 hour “ dash” from Toronto, Lake Macquarie …my mother had trained at North Sydney.
Now living at Teralba, Lake Macquarie having been embraced into the artistic bosom of my wife Rebecca MURRAY around 2011.
Secure in her love of “ my crazy” I have perused my artistic bent with some success, but always with great fun.
