Vibrant life unfurls with a flourish.
This abstracted sculpture of an eaglet represents the ungainliness of such a young bird with ruffled feathers and large eyes. The wheeled leg implies a training wheel whilst also evoking the classical representation of imperial eagles grasping the globe – a reference to the majestic power it will grow into.
This sculpture is made from salvaged steel pieces including an old garden rake.
