Adrift – this piece of driftwood was beautifully etched by nature and cured by the salty water as it travelled to rest on the shores of Lake Macquarie.
The colours reflect where it came from and where it travelled on its journey to rest at my feet. I wanted to petrify its story into glass forever.
This piece includes the free standing plinth it stands on.

I am a Lower Hunter Artisan working in 2D and 3D works in Kiln and Torch Fired Glass. Initially trained by Peter Minson, Master Glass Artist, and studied in later years in Venice, Murano Island, I have gone on to create my own Studio and Gallery.
Being an avid traveller, I feel deeply connected to Nature and the Flow of its Energy, especially in remote places removed from western civilisation as we know it today.
My explorations in glass seeks to reflect the Flow, Light and Movement of Natures Elements and Living Energy.
