Dudek harnesses the power of geometric form to capture the ethereal movement of natural light.
Her artworks stand as captivating testaments to a joyful interplay between unpredictability and serenity. This grouping of transparent Perspex sculptures with dichroic film applied to their surface engages the viewer and the architectural surroundings by capturing and spreading spectral light effects.
The sculptures serve as a poignant reminder that nothing exists in isolation and that all our relationships are in a state of constant metamorphosis

Anna Dudek
Inspired by shifting light, my art practice is about perceptions in the natural world and social relationships; particularly, how what we see in nature and self can be hidden, obstructed or revealed from the shadows.
In 2023, I was honoured to receive the Sculpture on the Farm award for Excellence in Timber Work. Recently, I have been completing private commissions and participating in group exhibitions in Australia and Europe.
I am a multidimensional sculptor with a MFA (2019) and a BFA from the National Art School. Originally from NZ, I currently reside in Sydney.
