Scott Ingram

Scott Ingram is a multidisciplinary artist who exhibits nationally. His art practice includes drawing, marble and wood carving, metal assemblages and installations.

He creates abstract and figurative sculpture, working with materials in distinctive ways that convey meaning to others. His abstract sculptures express the power of simple shapes in space. His figurative work expresses a subtleness hidden within the human form. The things he observes in nature’s architecture influence what he feels and creates as an individual language..

Sculptor Bio

Scott Ingram

Scott Ingram

I am a multidisciplinary artist. My art practice includes drawing, marble carving, multimedia installations, metal and timber sculpture.

My main sculptural interests are for both abstract and figurative sculpture, working with materials in distinctive ways that convey meaning to others.

I am always curious about the architecture of nature (which includes us) and how I can create sculpture as an individual language to reflect this. Easy to say, hard to do!

My abstract sculptures have evolved, expressing the power of simple shapes in space. My figurative sculpture communicates subtleties hidden within the human and non human form.

I have done private commissions only
