A Sooty Owl, a Powerful Owl, and a Masked Owl, (3 Owls known to visit the Dungog area) are perched upon a bare tree viewing the world with their large knowing eyes.

An installation depicting a comic bunch of native birds perched along the line, passing on their stories with their unique personalities and chattering. Each bird is hand drawn and hand plasma cut.
The sculpture is about the strength of the mother-child relationship. Parenting can be both a tug’o’war and a dance of love, but no matter how much the bond is stretched and tested, it won’t break.
