Sharon Taylor
I am a ceramic artist, practicing and exhibiting for around 17 years. My ceramic sculptures are inspired by my natural environment, the shapes, colours and textures of the landscape. Growing up exploring and climbing trees instilled a fascination with nature. Now a resident of lake Macquarie I find the lake, beaches and bush compelling inspiration for my artworks. I enjoy making pieces that can be put back into the landscape.
I completed a Bachelor of Fine Art, Honours (ceramics), at the University of Newcastle.
I have recently opened Wedge Ceramic Art Studio in Gateshead, where I enjoy producing my works.
